- 800 grams green Asparagus
- salt
- 150 grams Smoked bacon (sliced)
- 4 Sirloin steak (each about 160 grams)
- 4 Red onions
- peppers
- 2 Tbsps sunflower oil (for the grill)
- marjoram (for garnishing)
Preparation steps
1.
Peel bottom thirds of asparagus and blanch asparagus in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water, drain well. Wrap each stalk into one slice of bacon. Place on an oiled aluminum pan.

Rinse and part dry steaks, tie with kitchen string in a form. Peel and halve onions, cut into strips. Place on an oiled aluminum pan, season with salt and pepper and place with asparagus on the grill. Baste meat with oil and place on the grill. Grill everything, turning occasionally, for 8-10 minutes. Season asparagus with pepper, season meat with salt and pepper. Arrange steaks on plates and top with onions, garnish with marjoram and serve with asparagus.
