1 Sirloin steak (150 grams) (approximately 5 ounces)
4 scallions
olive oil

1 Tbsp finely chopped thyme
1 garlic clove (finely chopped)

Preparation steps

1.

Season the steak with pepper. Mix the thyme, garlic and 1 tablespoon olive oil together, spread over the steak and marinate overnight.

The following day, rinse the spring onions and trim. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large frying pan and sauté the onions until golden brown on all sides. Season with salt and pepper.

Remove the onions from the pan and arrange on a serving plate. Sear the steak for 2-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking. Season with salt, let rest briefly and then cut into thick slices. Arrange over the spring onions. Serve immediately.
