- For the salsa
- 200 grams Strawberries
- 1 small, green chili pepper
- ½ red onion
- 2 Tbsps Lime juice
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsps crushed Basil
- salt

- For the kebabs
- 1 Cantaloupe
- 1 honeydew melon
- 400 grams King prawn (kitchen ready, peeled, except tail segment)
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp dried rosemary
- salt
- white peppers

Preparation steps

For the salsa, rinse, trim and finely chop the strawberries. Rinse the chile pepper, remove the seeds and chop. Peel the onion and finely chop.
Mix the strawberries with the chile pepper and onion mix. Add the lime juice, oil and basil, mix well and season with salt and pepper.

For the kebabs, halve the melon and remove the seeds with a spoon. Cut out the flesh with a melon baller.
Rinse the shrimp and pat dry.
Alternately, thread the melon balls and shrimp onto skewers.
Peel the garlic and crush into the oil. Add the oregano, thyme and rosemary, mix well and season with salt and pepper.
Brush the kebabs with the spiced oil and cook on a grill for 5-8 minutes, while turning.
Serve immediately with the salsa.
