Serbian Cevapcici Sausage
- 22 ounces Ground beef
- 1 garlic (pressed)
- 2 shallots (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon sweet ground paprika
- 1 egg yolk
- vegetable oil
Knead the ground beef,pressed garlic, shallots, paprika and egg yolks, season with salt and shape into thumb-sized rolls. Thread onto skewers, brush with oil and cook on a hot grill (or saute in a little oil in a skillet) until browned.
Rinse tomatoes and cut into slices. Peel the cucumber and cut into thin slices. Rinse the hot peppers. Rinse the scallions and slice the white and light green parts into rings.
Arrange the vegetables on plates decoratively, place the skewers on top and sprinkle with chili flakes to taste.
