Potato Sausage Gratin
Coarsely grate the cheese. Boil the potatoes in salt water. Poach the sausage in hot water for 15 minutes over low heat.
Peel and thinly slice the garlic. Preheat the oven to 210°C / 400°F.
Peel the potatoes, slice and layer in a baking dish. Sprinkle half of the garlic over the potatoes. Cut the sausage into slices and spread over the potatoes. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Season with salt and pepper. Mix the creme fraiche with the remaining garlic and spread over the cheese. Bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
