4 cups small onions
1 Tbsp clarified butter
4 Pear (quartered and cored)
1 tsp powdered sugar
12 Italian sausage
5 sprigs marjoram
2 Tbsps butter

Preparation steps

1.
Fry the onions in clarified butter in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes. Add the pears, dust with icing sugar and brown gently for around 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the sausages, marjoram and butter and cook together over a low heat for 8-10 minutes until brown all over, crispy and cooked through.

Season with ground black pepper and, if necessary, sea salt. Arrange in small, pre-warmed individual serving pans if desired and serve. Serve with mashed potato if desired.
