Nutritional values

Refreshing melon brings plenty of vitamin power into the fruity shake. The pumpkin plant contributes a lot of vitamin C (60 percent of the daily requirement per drink) and an impressive portion of vitamin A (retinol). Retinol helps to build and grow bones and promotes the healing process after fractures.

Vitamin A belongs to the fat-soluble vitamins. The body can only absorb these vitamins optimally if fat is available at the same time. Therefore you should never replace the already low-fat milk used here with skimmed milk!

Yes, regular or almond milk would both work well.

This looks like an absolutely delightful drink! Could I replace milk with soy milk instead?
