- 1 kilogram predominantly waxy potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 Tbsp sunflower oil
- 300 milliliters Beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
- salt
- Caraway (ground)
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Pickle
- 50 grams sour Whipped cream
- 2 Tbsps scallions
- 2 Tbsps Wine vinegar
- 1 pinch sugar

Preparation steps
1.
Peel, rinse and cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Peel and finely chop onion. In a pan, fry onion in hot oil until translucent. Deglaze with broth. Add bay leaf and potatoes. Season with salt, ground caraway, and pepper. Simmer over low heat, partially covered, about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut pickles into small cubes. Remove potatoes from the heat. Stir in pickles, sour cream, and chives and serve seasoned with vinegar and sugar.
