Preparation steps

Peel and rinse potatoes, dice. Peel garlic and chop finely. Heat oil in a saucepan and cook garlic and potatoes briefly. Add broth and simmer for about 15 minutes or until potatoes begin to fall apart but still lumpy.

Remove from heat, add sour cream and parsley and season with salt, curry powder and white pepper to taste. Pour soup into bowls, top with smoked salmon and serve.
