Preparation steps

Peel and dice the potatoes, celery, onion and carrot finely. Combine the vegetables with broth in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 25 minutes. Puree the soup with a hand blender until smooth. Stir in the cream and creme fraiche. Season with salt and pepper.

To serve, ladle the soup into warmed bowls, garnish with herbs and top with salmon and capers.
