Preparation steps

1.

Cook eggs until hard-boiled. Rinse and crack shell slightly on all sides. Place eggs in a mason jar.

2.

Peel onion and cut into rings. In a pot, combine onion with juniper berries, peppercorns, bay leaves and red wine vinegar. Season with salt and add water to cover. Bring to a boil and pour mixture over eggs to cover.
