Nutritional values

Mushrooms are generally good suppliers of minerals, such as iron. Our body needs this for blood formation and oxygen transport in the blood. Oyster mushrooms contain a substance called lovastatin, which has been proven to lower blood fat levels and thus has a positive effect on our heart health.

Serve the mushrooms with potato pancakes or a pan-fried baguette, which you can sprinkle with chopped pistachios and walnuts. Refine the pan by rubbing some parmesan over the mushrooms.
