Preparation steps

Rinse, peel and cut potatoes into quarters. Cook potatoes in salted boiling water until tender. Drain and let steam evaporate.

Press potatoes through a potato ricer. Heat cream and milk until warmed and stir with potatoes. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Peel, halve and remove core from pear, then cut into small cubes. In a pan, heat butter until foamy. Add pine nuts and diced pear. Sprinkle with a little sugar and fry, shaking pan occasionally until pears are golden. Combine pears and pine nuts with mashed potatoes and season generously with salt, nutmeg and pepper.
