200 grams grated aged Cheese (such as Gruyère or Appenzeller)
150 grams Whipped cream
1 Tbsp butter

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente then drain. Melt the butter in the cream over very low heat. Bring to a gentle simmer, add 100 grams (approximately 3 ounces) grated cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.

Toss the pasta with the cheese sauce and place in a baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for about 10 minutes, until golden brown. Serve with a green salad and a glass of white wine, if desired.
