100 grams Crème fraiche
120 grams grated Cheese (such as Emmental, Gouda, mozzarella)

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water untl al dente. Remove from the water and drain thoroughly. Cut the ham into strips or cubes. Whisk the eggs with the cream, crème fraîche, and half of the cheese. Season the mixture to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

3.

Mix the macaroni with the ham, and place in a greased casserole dish. Pour in the egg mixture and top with the remaining cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
