1 lemon
2 garlic cloves
400 grams Farfalle
salt
1 Tbsp butter (15 grams or approximately .5 ounce)
5 Tbsps Pine nuts (75 grams or approximately 2.5 ounces)
1 handful fresh Basil
peppers
1 pc Parmesan (20 grams or approximately .75 ounces)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the lemon in hot water, pat dry, grate the zest and squeeze the juice. Set aside.

2.

Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices.

3.

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package directions until al dente.

4.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan over low heat. Add the garlic and lemon zest and saute for 2-3 minutes.

5.

Toast the pine nuts in another pan until fragrant.

6.

Rinse the basil, shake dry and pluck leaves.

7.

Drain the pasta and add to the pan with the pine nuts. Add the pepper, garlic, lemon zest, and juice. Mix in the basil and spread onto 4 plates. Serve with grated parmesean cheese.
