1 handful mint
2 garlic cloves
½ lemon (juiced)
50 milliliters mild olive oil

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse salad, shake dry and chop. Rinse tomatoes and dice. Rinse cucumber, cut in half lengthwise and cut crosswise into slices. Peel onions, halve and cut into thin strips. Rinse peppers, halve and remove seeds and ribs and chop.

Rinse mint, shake dry, pluck off and coarsely chop leaves. Peel garlic and crush with a back of knife. Make dressing by combining lemon juice, mint, garlic and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Just before serving, toast pita breads in the oven. Combine all salad ingredients and arrange on plates. Tear pita bread and sprinkle on salad. Drizzle salad with the dressing and serve.
