- For the stew
- 22 ozs lamb {such as leg)
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 14 ozs waxy potatoes
- 10 ozs Lentils
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 16 fluid ozs lamb stock (Or beef stock)
- 2 Pear
- balsamic vinegar
- salt
- freshly grated Horseradish
- honey
- freshly ground peppers
- For garnish
- freshly grated Horseradish
- freshly chopped parsley

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse lamb, pat dry and chop. Peel the onions and garlic and chop finely. Scrub and peel the potatoes and dice. Rinse the lentils with hot water and drain.
2.
Brown lamb in hot oil on all sides. Add onions, garlic and potatoes and saute briefly. Add lamb stock to deglaze pan. Cover and simmer for approximately 1 hour.
3.
Rinse, quarter, core and dice pears. Add to lamb mixture and simmer during the last 15 minutes.
4.
Season with balsamic vinegar, salt, mustard, honey and pepper. Serve sprinkled with horseradish and parsley.
