- 28 ozs Pork (e. g. shoulder; diced)
- 2 onions (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger (freshly grated)
- ½ tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Mustard seed
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp Mustard oil
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 1 tsp Tamarind paste
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- ⅔ cup water

1 Pot, 1 Potato ricer, 1 große Bowl, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Hand mixer mit Knethaken, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Sieve, 1 Brush, 1 Non-stick pan, 1 Slotted spatula, 1 Parchment paper, 1 Baking sheet, 1 Peeler, 1 Rolling pin, 1 Wooden spoon
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and brown the meat in batches. Return to the pan and add the onions, garlic and spices and cook for 2 minutes.

Pour in the lemon juice, stir in the tamarind paste, sugar and water. Cover and simmer gently for 45 - 50 minutes. Add a little water if needed.
3.
For the garnish: heat the oil and cook the potato slivers until golden. Drain on kitchen paper.
4.
Season the curry and garnish with the potato slivers.
