250 grams Gyros meat (pre-seasoned, fresh or frozen)
1 Tbsp vegetable oil

4 Sesame seed rolls
1 large Tomato
¼ Cucumber
2 leaves Lettuce
150 grams Yogurt (0.1% fat) (cultured)

Preparation steps

Thaw frozen gyro meat. Peel onion and cut into rings. Cook meat and onion in oil while stirring for about 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Cut lids off the rolls and hollow out centers up to an edge of about 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch). Rinse tomato and remove the seeds. Peel cucumber and dice the tomato and cucumber. Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Mix tomato and diced cucumber with the meat. Line the hollowed rolls with lettuce. Top with the meat mixture, then spread the yogurt on top. Replace the top bun halves and press gently.
