4 Tbsps olive oil
2 Tbsps lemon juice
1 clove garlic cloves (minces)

4 fresh lemons (rinsed and halved)
1 jar Ajvar (prepared)

Ajvar relish (made from red bell peppers and eggplant) can be found at most specialty markets.

Preparation steps

Rinse tuna and blot dry with paper towels.
2.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper together. Brush tuna on both sides with marinade, cover and marinate for 30 minutes.

Prepare the grill for direct grilling. Preheat to medium-high. Brush the grill grate with oil. Arrange the tuna on the hot grill grate. Grill until cooked to taste, 2 to 3 minutes on each side for rare, 4 to 6 minutes on each side for medium.

Arrange lemon halves on hot grill grate and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer tuna steaks and lemons to individual plates or serving platter. Serve with Ajvar relish and French bread if desired.
