For Garlic Mayonnaise
½ cup Mayonnaise
2 cloves garlic cloves (minced)
For Marinated Shrimp
3 cloves garlic cloves (chopped)
2 tsps fresh ginger (grated)
½ cup Teriyaki sauce
1 cup clamato juice
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
4 cups extra-large shrimp (shells and tail intact)
fresh lemons (for garnish)
crusty Bread (to serve)

Preparation steps

For Garlic Mayonnaise:

Combine mayonnaise and garlic in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

For Marinated Shrimp:

In a small bowl, combine garlic, ginger, teriyaki sauce, clamato juice and lemon juice. Set aside.

Using scissors, cut the shrimp shell and devein the shrimp, leaving the shell on. Place the shrimp in a large bowl and pour the marinade over the shrimp. Gently toss to coat. Marinate for 20 to 30 minutes (no longer) prior to grilling.

Meanwhile, while the shrimp is marinating, prepare the grill for direct grilling. Preheat to medium-high.

Place shrimp on a fish grate. Grill for about 2 minutes on each side, or until the shells are hot pink and the shrimp is opaque.
8.
Transfer to individual plates. Serve with lemon slices, garlic mayonnaise, and your favorite crusty bread.
