2 scallions
2 shallots
2 garlic cloves
2 sprigs Dill
½ Lime (juiced)
2 Tbsps Maple syrup
2 Tbsps olive oil
salt
freshly ground peppers
4 skinless Salmon (each around 160 grams) (approximately 6 ounces)

Preparation steps

1.

Soak the cedar plank in cold water for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Rinse the scallions, trim and thinly slice. Peel the shallots and garlic, chop the garlic finely and thinly slice the shallots. Rinse the dill, shake dry and finely chop. Combine the scallions, shallots, garlic and dill in a shallow dish along with the lime juice, maple syrup and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Rinse the salmon, pat dry and place in the marinade.

Preheat the grill. Place the soaked cedar plank on the hot grates, cover and wait until the plank starts to smoke, around 4-5 minutes.

Arrange the fish on the plank, cover and grill for 10-14 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.

Serve on the cedar plank.

Rinse the dill, shake dry and finely chop the dill.

Rinse the salmon, dry it, put in a flat shape and distribute the marinade on the pieces. Pull blank until the grill is hot.
