Peaches re easily digestible due to their low acidity and therefore very popular with small children and people with stomach problems. They also contain secondary plant substances that can also put you in a good mood and help protect your DNA from damage.

If you don't have lemon thyme, replace them with fresh lemon or lime juice and a sprig of rosemary.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 teaspoons honey
1 handful Lemon thyme

Preparation steps

Rinse peaches, pat dry, and cut in half horizontally. Remove pits and place cut-side down on an oiled baking sheet or grill pan. Drizzle with some honey.

Rinse thyme, shake dry, and sprinkle over peaches. Cover with remaining honey and then drizzle with oil.

Place in the oven under a preheated oven broiler and cook for about 10 minutes, watching carefully.

Garnish with additional thyme sprigs, if desired. Serve hot.
