Preparation steps

1.

Rinse asparagus, peel bottom third, cut off woody ends and parboil stalks in boiling salted water with a pinch of sugar for 3 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again.

Heat up barbeque.

Barbeque asparagus while occasionally rotating for 3-5 minutes. To serve, arrange asparagus on plates, drizzle with butter and season with salt and pepper. Serve garnished with a lemon wedge.
