- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 large, red Bell pepper (seeds removed, chopped)
- 18 ozs gluten-free puff pastry
- 1.333 cups Emmentaler cheese (grated)
- salt
- peppers
- 1 egg (beaten)
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180° fan) 400°F gas 6. Line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and gently cook the pepper until softened. Remove from the pan and leave to cool.
3.
Roll out the pastry between 2 sheets of non-stick baking paper. Cut out 7-8cm|3" discs, re-rolling the pastry trimmings.
4.
Mix together the pepper and cheese and season lightly with salt and pepper.
5.
Divide the mixture between the pastry discs, leaving a border around the edges and brush the edges lightly with beaten egg.
6.
Crimp the edges together and brush the pasties with beaten egg.
7.
Place on the baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes until the pastry is golden.
