4 Mandarin orange
2 lemons (squeeze of juice)
2 tsps honey
4 Tbsps vegetable oil
salt (and pepper)
For the toast
4 slices Toast
6 Tbsps grated Gouda

Preparation steps

1.

Trim lettuce, rinse and tear into bite-sized pieces. Brush fennel, rinse and cut into strips. Chop fennel leaves.

2.

Rinse pears, quarters, remove the seeds and cut into slices. Peel and fillet mandarin oranges. For dressing, mix lemon juice with honey and season with salt and pepper. Mix lettuce with fruit and drizzle with dressing. Drizzle fennel leaves with vegetable oil.

3.

Top bread with cheese and let melt under the oven broiler. Cut into corners and serve with the salad.
