300 grams ground pork
1 pc fresh ginger (about 2 cm)
4 Water chestnut (from a can)
2 scallions
100 grams shrimp (peeled and deveined)
salt
¼ tsp Chinese Chili sauce
20 Wonton wrapper
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 egg

Preparation steps

1.

Chop the shrimp. Trim the scallions and cut into thin rings. Peel the ginger, drain water chestnuts and finely chop both.

2.

Mix the ground pork with the scallions, ginger, water chestnuts, shrimp, egg, chilli and soy sauce.

3.

Spread about 1 teaspoon of the filling onto the wonton wrappers. Pull up and shape the edges of the wrappers around the filling.

4.

Place the wontons in a bamboo steamer without touching each other. Fill a wok with a little water, place the bamboo steamer on top and cover and steam the wontons, in batches, over medium heat approximately 15 minutes.
