Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Melt the butter and sugar in a roasting pan. Cut the vanilla bean in half and scrape the inside into the pan. Deglaze with the sweet wine and the lemon juice, stirring occasionally.

3.

Rinse and cut a cross in the top of the figs, separating the figs into quarters, but keeping them joined at one end. Set in the caramel sauce and sprinkle the pine nuts over it. Bake in the oven for about 6 minutes. Cool before serving.
