For the cheese cream
100 grams Mountain cheese (such as Gryuere)
1 small onion
2 Tbsps chopped parsley
2 Pickled cucumbers
200 grams Quark
4 Tbsps Yogurt (0.1% fat)
2 Tbsps Horseradish (from a jar)

2 Tomatoes
1 yellow Bell pepper
6 Lettuce
8 slices Whole Wheat Bread
200 grams smoked Turkey ham (sliced)

Preparation steps

For the cheese cream: finely grate mountain cheese. Peel onion and cut into small cubes. Finely dice cornichons. Combine quark, mountain cheese, onion, parsley, cornichon, yogurt and horseradish and mix well, season with salt and pepper.

For the sandwiches: rinse tomatoes, remove stalks and cut into thin slices. Halve pepper, remove seeds and ribs and cut into fine strips. Rinse and shake dry salad leaves. Spread whole wheat bread with cream cheese mixture. Top with lettuce leaves, turkey ham, tomato slices and pepper strips. Season with freshly ground pepper, serve.
