Ingredients
for
1
- Ingredients
- 1 chicken 1-2 kg (approximately 2.5-4.5 pounds)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp sweet ground paprika
- salt
- peppers
- 60 milliliters Canola oil
- 1 can beer
Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
2.
Rinse the chicken and pat dry. Mince the garlic and mix with the thyme, paprika, salt, pepper, canola oil and about 80 ml (approximately 1/3 cup) of the beer. Wrap the beer can in aluminum foil and place on a beer can chicken rack (optional). Rub the marinade onto the chicken, under the skin and inside the cavity. Place the chicken onto the beer can and transfer to the preheated grill. Close the lid and cook for about 50 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (approximately 165°F).
3.
Remove the chicken from the grill and allow to rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
