Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 185°C / 375°F convection. Rinse the apples, cut in half crosswise and remove the core with a melon baller. Cut the figs into small cubes. Chop the nuts coarsely and mix with the figs and the oats.

Place the apples in a greased baking pan, drizzle with butter and fill the cores with the oat mixture. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and drizzle with a little honey. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and arrange on a serving plate. Serve with whipped cream and maple syrup, if desired.
