- 750 grams tart Apples
- juiced Lemons
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Cinnamon sugar
- 125 milliliters Apple juice
Peel, halve and core apples, cut into thin wedges and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Butter tart pan (28 cm in diameter) (approximately 12 inches) and spread with apple wedges, overlapping.
Melt remaining butter and brush apples with it. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and sugar.
Add apple juice to the pan and bake in preheated oven at 200°C (gas 3) (approximately 400°F) for about 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with remaining cinnamon and sugar and serve.
