Nutritional values

Acai berries owe their dark hue to anthocyanins, antioxidants which protect the body's cells from free radicals, which can cause everything from premature aging to cancer.

This is a great meal prep recipe-- simply place one-serving portions of these ingredients into individual baggies, freeze, and throw them in a blender whenever you want an acai bowl.

Ingredients

for
1
Ingredients
½ frozen Banana (slices)
4 ozs Frozen berry
1 Tbsp Acai berry powder
1 tsp Agave syrup
7 ozs unsweetened Almond milk
3 Strawberries
1 Banana
1 Tbsp Pecan
1 Tbsp Almond slivers
1 tsp Chia seeds
1 tsp Oats

Preparation steps

1.

For the base, put frozen fruit, acai berry powder, agave syrup and almond drink in a blender and mix to a creamy puree. Depending on the desired consistency, add some more almond drink - this makes the Acai Bowl more liquid.

2.

For the topping, wash, clean and slice the strawberries. Peel and slice the banana. Arrange on the base together with nuts, seeds and oat flakes.
