Even though it is fried, this recipe still has numerous health benefits, from the coconut milk, to the vegetables, to the chicken breast. These appetizers are a treat that any guest will love!
Serve these with some soy sauce and even some siracha mayo for a spicy, unique flavor combination.

- 2 cloves garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp diced onions
- 1 pinch ground Lemongrass
- 1 pinch Anise seed
- 1 pinch cilantro
- 2 Tbsps light soy sauce
- 4 Tbsps Coconut milk
- salt

- 4 Chicken breasts
- 9 ozs ready-made Wonton wrapper
- Oil (for deep frying)

Preparation steps
1.
Mix together the garlic, onion, lemongrass, spices, soy sauce, coconut milk and a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for 2 hours.

Divide the pastry into 10-12 squares. Heat the oil to about 180°C|350°F.
3.
Press the pastry squares into a small metal sieve to form small pastry shells and deep-fry in oil in batches until golden. Drain on kitchen paper.
4.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease a baking dish.
5.
Drain the chicken from the marinade and place in the baking dish. Spoon a little of the marinade over the chicken and cook for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked.
6.
Slice the chicken and put into the won ton shells. Garnish with the spring onion and coriander leaves.
