Whole-grain and Kamut Bread
Dissolve the yeast with the sugar in the warm water and stir until smooth.
Mix the flour, kamut, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the dissolved yeast and knead with an electric mixer to form a smooth, elastic dough. If necessary, add flour or water. Cover the dough and let rise for about 45 minutes.
Knead the dough on a floured surface and shape into a loaf. Place in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise for about 15 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 35-40 minutes. Remove from the oven. Allow to cool slightly in the pan. Turn out of the pan and leave to cool completely before slicing.
