1 lemon (juice and zest)

9 ozs Blueberries

Preparation steps

1.

Boil sugar with 5 ounces of water, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Simmer for a few minutes until sugar dissolves. Allow to cool.

2.

Cut watermelon into pieces and purée. Press through a fine sieve and remove seeds. Rinse blueberries and add to watermelon purée. Mix with sugar syrup. Pour into popsicle molds. Let freeze for at least five hours. Depending upon the shape, insert popsicle sticks.
