Ingredients

For the dough
500 grams Pastry flour
40 grams Yeast
1 pinch sugar
1 pinch salt
¼ l water
5 Tbsps olive oil
For the tomato sauce
2 finely chopped onions
2 chopped garlic cloves
3 Tbsps olive oil
1 can peeled Tomatoes
1 tsp oregano
salt (and pepper)
For the topping
3 scallions
2 yellow Bell pepper
2 Red Bell pepper
2 Mozzarella
fresh oregano

Preparation steps

For the dough: Mix all the dough ingredients together and make a yeast dough.

For the tomato sauce: Sauté the onion with the garlic, tomatoes and spices and let simmer for about 50 minutes.

For the toppings: Trim and rinse the scallions and cut into rings. Rinse and halve the peppers, remove the seeds and ribs and into thin strips. Slice the mozzarella. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle, cover with the tomato sauce and top with peppers and scallions. Finally, cover with the sliced mozzarella and sprinkle with fresh oregano. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for 10-15 minutes.
