- 14 ozs Tuna steak about 1 inch (2 - 3 cm) thick
- ¾ cup shallots
- 2 cloves garlic cloves
- 1 red Pepperoni
- 4 whole Pickled ginger (jar)
- 3 Tbsps Coriander
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 4 Tbsps Peanut oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- freshly milled Black pepper
- 8 wooden Skewer

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Non-stick pan, 1 Slotted spatula, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Peeler, 1 Small bowl, 6 lange Wooden skewers
Preparation steps

Soak the wooden skewers in water. Wash the tuna steaks and pat dry. Cut into 1 x 3 inch (3 x 8 cm) strips. Thread the tuna strips lengthways onto wooden skewers.

Peel the garlic and the shallots and finely chop. Wash the peperoni, cut in half lengthways, remove the seeds and finely chop. Dry the ginger and finely chop.

Crush the coriander seeds in a mortar, then mix in the shallots, ginger, garlic, peperoni, soy sauce, peanut oil, sesame oil and lemon juice. Season to taste with freshly milled pepper. Pour the marinade over the fish kebabs, cover, place in the refridgerator and leave to marinate for about 1 hour.

Place under a hot boiler for 3 - 4 minutes, turning once.
