300 grams onions
2 garlic cloves
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 kilograms Tomatoes
salt
1 Tbsp Vinegar
125 milliliters water
2 Tbsps sugar

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the onions and garlic. Slice the onions, and finely dice the garlic. Heat the oil in a saucepan.

Sauté the onions until soft.

Blanch the tomatoes for a few seconds in boiling water. Remove and peel. Add the tomatoes with the remaining ingredients to the pan with the onions. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often.

4.

Reduce the heat, and simmer for 1 hour. Season to taste. Divide into prepared hot jars, seal tightly, and cool completely.
