500 grams yellow Tomatoes
200 grams Celery
3 tart Apple
1 red chili pepper
10 cloves
1 Tbsp Mustard seed
6 allspice
1 tsp dried thyme
50 grams raisins
1 Tbsp salt
80 milliliters Wine vinegar
100 grams sugar

Preparation steps

Blanch the tomatoes for a few seconds in boiling water, then remove. Peel and quarter the tomatoes, then remove the core and cut into pieces. Rinse, trim, and thinly slice the celery. Peel and quarter the apples. Remove the seeds, and finely dice. Rinse and halve the chili lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes, and thinly slice.

Add the cloves, mustard seeds, and allspice berries to an empty tea bag, and tie with kithcen twine. Mix all the ingredients in a pot, and bring to a boil stirring often. Reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 50-60 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove the spice bag, and divide the chutney into prepared sterilized jars. Seal tightly and cool completely.
