8 slices Wholemeal Bread (ready-sliced, halved lengthways)
2 Tbsps butter
4 Tbsps runny honey

Preparation steps

1.
Toast the almonds in a frying pan without fat until golden. Remove and put to one side.
2.
Whisk the eggs with the milk and sugar and soak the slices of bread in the mixture.
3.
Drain off the excess liquid and fry in hot butter for around 1 minute on each side until golden brown. Arrange on plates and drizzle over a little honey. Serve garnished with the berries and toasted almonds.
