Preparation steps

Rinse the strawberries, pat dry, clean and cut into pieces. Disconnect the rhubarb and cut into 3 cm (1 inch) long pieces. Rinse one orange under hot water, halve and cut into slices. The remaining oranges squeeze.

Boil 600 ml (a little over 2 cups) of water with the orange juice, the orange slices, sugar and grenadine. Put the rhubarb in and simmer for about 4 minutes, add the strawberries and cook for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool and decant into a carafe. Chill approximately 2 hours in the refrigerator and then serve cold.
