1 Orange (juiced and zested)
450 grams jam sugar (2:1 ratio)

Preparation steps

Rinse and trim the strawberries, then halve or quarter depending on the size. Place in a large pot. Add the orange juice and the jam sugar (sugar should be half the amount of fruit). Combine thoroughly with the strawberries, cover, and set aside for 2 hours.

Bring to a boil, and cook for 4-5 minutes. Stir in the zest and fill into the prepared jars. Seal tightly and cool completely.
