1 kilogram fresh ripe Strawberries
1 kilogram jam sugar (1: 1)
1 untreated lemon (juice)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse, hull and halve or quarter the strawberries, depending on the size. Combien the berries and the preserving sugar in a saucepan, stir and leave for about 2 hours for the berries to release their juice.

Add the lemon juice to the pan, and boil, skimming any foam that rises to the surface, for about 5 minutes. Pour the jam in hot sterilized canning jars. Place the jars in a water bath with water to cover by 2 inches, cover and boil 15 minutes. Remove from the water bath and let cool.
