This recipe for glazed chicken is full of lean protein and has very little added sugar. It only has one tablespoon of honey!

You can add more chilli sauce to the chicken if you like spice a lot.

5 ½ cups Chicken wing (jointed, tips removed)
1 Orange (juiced)
3 Tbsps sweet Chili sauce
1 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 scallion (finely chopped)
1 Tbsp fresh ginger (finely grated)

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Arrange the chicken wings on the baking tray and season with salt and ground black pepper. Bake in the oven for around 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix together the orange juice, chile sauce, honey, and soy sauce and stir in the spring onion and ginger.

Remove the chicken wings from the oven and brush with the sauce. Bake for a further 5 minutes then remove from the oven, cool briefly and serve. If desired, garnish with strips of spring onion and serve with the remaining chile sauce.
