- 1 cup plain Yogurt
- ½ cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 lemon (halved)
- 3 cups Crabmeat (picked through for shell)
- 1 red chili pepper (seeded and finely chopped)
- 1 small egg white (lightly beaten)
- 2 Tbsps Corn starch
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- ¼ cup sunflower oil
- 1 flat-leaf parsley (roughly chopped)
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper

Preparation steps
1.
Whisk together the yoghurt, mayonnaise, half the paprika, and some seasoning in a small mixing bowl.
2.
Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into the mixture and stir briefly. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
3.
Tip the crab into a bowl and add the chilli pepper, egg white, cornflour, remaining paprika, Cayenne, and some seasoning.
4.
Mix thoroughly until combined. Shape the mixture into cakes and arrange on a tray.
5.
Heat tablespoons of the oil in a large frying pan set over a medium heat until hot.
6.
Season the crab cakes and fry for 5-6 minutes, turning once, until golden on both sides.
7.
Serve immediately with the sauce, a sprinkling of chopped parsley, and the remaining lemon.
