8 Chicken legs
2 cloves garlic cloves (crushed)
1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
9 ozs Greek yogurt
1 tsp Coriander
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Cardamom powder
1 tsp spicy paprika
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 Tbsp honey
2 tsps lemon juice
vegetable oil (for the baking tray)

Preparation steps

1.
Pierce the chicken all over with a sharp knife to allow the marinade to soak in better.

Mix together the garlic, ginger, yoghurt, all the spices, honey, lemon juice, salt and ground black pepper. Rub the marinade into the chicken, cover and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Heat the oven to 220°C (200°C in a fan oven), 425°F, gas 7 and grease a baking tray with oil.
4.
Place the chicken on the prepared tray and roast for around 30 minutes. After around 15 minutes, brush with some more marinade. Serve with rice.
