- 3 scallions
- 150 grams smoked ham
- 800 grams waxy potatoes
- butter (for the mold)
- 1 garlic clove
- 350 milliliters Whipped cream
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams grated Gruyere
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- freshly grated Nutmeg

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Trim the scallions, rinse and cut diagonally into 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) long pieces.

Cut the ham into strips. Peel the potatoes, rinse, pat dry and cut into slices. Grease a pie dish. Layer in the potatoes, scallions and ham. Peel the garlic, chop finely and sprinkle over the top. Whisk together the cream, eggs and cheese and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour over the potatoes and bake for about 45 minutes. Remove and serve immediately.
