For the spaghetti
400 grams Spaghetti
1 can Tuna (150 g, drained weight)
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1 bunch parsley
3 Tbsps olive oil
1 sm can peeled Tomatoes (400 grams, or 400 grams ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped)
salt
peppers
1 dried chili pepper

Preparation steps

1.

Cook spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

Break tuna into pieces using 2 forks. Peel and chop onion and garlic. Rinse parsley and chop finely.

3.

Heat oil in a pot. Fry onion and garlic fry while stirring. Add tomatoes, crush tomatoes at will, season with salt, pepper and dried chile pepper and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add parsley and tuna, allow to boil, season and stir in capers.

4.

Drain spaghetti and place on a warm plate. Top with tuna sauce, garnished with basil and serve immediately.
